Did you read the prequel? If not it's free right now, if so then you read about Onyx. And let me tell you what a perfect name I love it. Onyx Blake is powerful and takes no crap from anyone. He rules with an iron fist or knife. If you even attempt to go against him you will pay. He always gets what he wants and when someone dismisses him like he's nothing well yeah look out. Torryn is this passionate down on her luck woman who just wants to get her life together. When she comes face to face with Onyx she knows something is about to change. The ladies asked us not to give spoilers so I won't. All I will say is PICK UP THIS BOOK AND READ IT.

OK, this book was maddening! I don’t know whether I love or hate Onyx...His power and control games drove me to absolute sanity! I don’t know about you but if you’re strong female like Torryn then the power and control games that Onyx played wouldn’t have worked with me! I just wanted to reach into the book and throat punch him!
Chelsea and Ryan I can’t even begin to tell you how irritated I was being when I was reading this book. I mean that in the best way possible though! I was like, I’m not reading it but then I kept going to find out what happened next! Ugh, it was crazy!
